Dr. Lorenzetti joined Countryside Orthopaedics in 2015 from Florida, where he completed a fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa on shoulder and elbow reconstruction. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Lorenzetti was an orthopaedic surgery resident at Loma Linda University Medical Center for four years. He completed his internship in orthopaedic surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, NY, after earning his medical doctor degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009. He graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Medford, MA with a B.S. degree in chemical and biological engineering in 2004.
With numerous publications, presentations, and research to his credit, Dr. Lorenzetti specializes in shoulder reconstruction including shoulder arthroscopy (rotator cuff repairs, instability, frozen shoulder, etc.) and Anatomic and Reverse Shoulder Replacements, as well as elbow surgery and reconstruction. He is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Lorenzetti enjoys a variety of sports, including white water rafting, riverboarding, skiing and snowboarding, scuba diving, golf, bowling, soccer, and trekking. An intermediate Spanish language speaker, Dr. Lorenzetti also loves to travel internationally.
