Countryside Orthopaedics is pleased to announce that Dr. Adam J. Lorenzetti has joined the practice, and is now accepting new patients. A board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, Dr. Lorenzetti comes to Countryside Orthopaedics from Florida, where he completed a fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.
“Dr. Lorenzetti brings a unique expertise in both shoulder and elbow surgeries that will be greatly beneficial to our patients,” said Dr. Raymond Lower, founder of Countryside Orthopaedics.
Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Lorenzetti was an orthopaedic surgery resident at Loma Linda University Medical Center (Loma Linda, CA) for four years. While at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Dr. Lorenzetti became certified in basic microsurgical techniques.
He completed his internship in orthopaedic surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, NY, after earning his medical doctor degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009. He graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Medford, MA with a B.S. degree in chemical and biological engineering in 2004.
With numerous publications, presentations and research to his credit, Dr. Lorenzetti specializes in shoulder arthroplasty surgery, as well as elbow surgery and reconstruction. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Lorenzetti enjoys a variety of sports, including whitewater rafting, riverboarding, skiing and snowboarding, scuba diving, golf, bowling, soccer and trekking. An intermediate Spanish language speaker, Dr. Lorenzetti also loves to travel internationally.
